Home Inspection Services Every Residential Homeowner Needs
We inspect homes thoroughly so you can live confidently, knowing your investment is safe and sound and your family is protected.
As a homeowner, regular inspections (once or twice a year) are essential to enhance your home’s longevity and integrity. These check-ups, akin to medical exams, detect issues before they escalate. Over time, your home systems will age, showing wear and tear. Professional inspections document your home’s condition, catching minor defects early, preventing costly repairs. Our certified inspectors identify problems and connect you with skilled contractors for immediate solutions.
If you’re looking to buy a home in Florida, a professional inspection allows you to make the most informed decision about a major investment. The inspection process looks for any issues or defects, giving buyers grounds to renegotiate the purchase price if necessary. For example, if problems are discovered, you could demand the seller make repairs first or lower the selling price accordingly. A clean inspection provides peace of mind that you won’t have regrets. It also educates you on maintaining your new home properly.
Home inspections greatly reduce the risk of future legal issues for sellers by ensuring full disclosure upfront. Identifying and addressing any problems beforehand eliminates potentially costly and time-consuming lawsuits down the road. An inspection allows you to make repairs or offer credits to the buyer before closing. This prevents unpleasant surprises or accusations after the sale is finalized.
A thorough home inspection also highlights safety issues you may not notice on your own. For instance, inspectors look for faulty wiring, potential moisture issues that could lead to mold, insufficient insulation, and more. They assess the integrity of the roof, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems that could fail over time. For a few hundred dollars, an inspection provides invaluable insights into your most valuable asset. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.

When inspecting the roof, we use ladders to view shingles, flashing, and gutters up close. We look for damaged or missing shingles that could cause leakage. We also examine the underside of the roof structure for water stains or rotting that can lead to collapse. Proper roof ventilation is checked.
Our inspectors scan siding, trim, and exterior walls to identify deterioration, cracking, or wood rot areas. We check for proper caulking around windows/doors to prevent water intrusion. Grading around the foundation is checked so water flows away from home.
We confirm the cooling, heating, and ventilation systems are properly installed and functioning efficiently. This involves checking for correct refrigerant levels, verifying ductwork is properly sealed, and testing air flows from vents.
We run water through fixtures, flush toilets, and drain tubs to check for adequate flow, leaks, or signs of corrosion. Pipes are checked for proper support. Water heater is examined for rust, energy efficiency, and safety mechanisms.
We find wiring routes through home and inspect connections for hazards. Breaker panel is checked for capacity to handle needs. All outlets, switches, and fixtures are tested. Safety features like GFCIs near water sources are confirmed.
We thoroughly assess the functionality of built-in appliances by running them through cycles. This includes testing stove burners, ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and laundry connections. We listen and watch for any alarming sounds, odours, or issues.
Our inspection looks for damaged walls, peeling paint or wallpaper, cracked floors, and other interior defects. Doors and windows are checked for fit, operation, and locking abilities. Smoke and CO detectors are confirmed.
We closely examine the foundation and structure for levelness, large cracks, or areas that indicate settling. The attic, basement, and crawl spaces are checked for moisture intrusion that could attract pests or lead to mold.
Proper ventilation and insulation levels are checked in the attic to prevent moisture buildup and ensure energy efficiency. Leaks from roof penetrations are inspected. Access points are confirmed and sealed to keep out pests.
An initial consultation call where we discuss your priorities, provide a quote upfront and answer any preliminary questions.

What is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is when a professional home inspector comes to the house and gives it a super thorough check-up before it’s sold. They’re looking for any issues or problems that the potential buyers or even the sellers should know about.
When thinking of buying or selling a house, it’s smart to call in a home inspector before making any big decisions. They thoroughly check out the property to catch any issues that might cost you down the line. They look at every nook and cranny—inside and out—to see what shape it’s in.
It’s good to check if the inspectors have a home inspection certification from organizations like the ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) or InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) so you are confident they really know their stuff.
